Chocolate Protein Oat Cups

Chocolate Protein Oat Cups

Delicious, Healthier Snack

The perfect no-bake recipe everyone will love. I created this recipe to use all simple and healthier ingredients. These cups are perfect for on-the-go.

The addition of protein plus healthy fats from the almond butter will help keep you fuller for longer. Also, the rolled oats are higher in fiber. These are perfect for when you don’t have time to make a snack. You can easily prep these in advance and have them on hand for the whole week.

These cups only have ¼ cup of maple syrup. This means in each cup there is very little added sugar. If you use unsweetened chocolate, these will be a duper low in sugar snack. These won’t make your blood sugar spike.

Not only is this recipe super quick and easy to make, but it’s also no-bake. This means in those hot summer months you don’t have to worry about turning on your oven to make these. It makes the process go way faster.

These cups are also all made in one bowl. You don’t have to worry about a huge stack of dishes after making these.

Anytime I use my cupcake tray, I always use silicone cupcake liners. I would highly recommend buying these. You never have to worry about anything getting stuck to them. They are also better for the environment, so you aren’t throwing away the liner each time.

In the directions I stated these make about 9 cups. These will differ depending on the size you make each one and how much of the mix you add to each liner. These could also be made into bites instead of cups if you prefer that.

Instead of adding them to the cupcake liners, just take a scoop of the mix, roll into a ball, and coat in chocolate.

Oats: I used rolled oats. I find they work best. Quick oats should also work.

Maple syrup: you can use any liquid sweetener you prefer (agave, date syrup, etc.)

Almond butter: any nut or seed butter will work (cashew, sunflower, peanut, etc.)

Protein powder: I used a vanilla protein powder. You can use any you prefer. I would recommend using a more neutral flavor like chocolate or vanilla.

Chocolate: any chocolate will work. I personally melted my favorite chocolate chips. If you prefer white chocolate, you can use that too.
