How to Make Cinnamon Roll Bread

Step 1: Prep

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Batter

In a large bowl, melt the butter. Add the sugar, applesauce, and milk, then whisk until smooth and well combined.

Stir in the baking powder, all-purpose flour, and almond flour. Mix until a smooth batter forms. Set aside.

Step 3: Make the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

In a separate bowl, melt the butter. Add the cinnamon, sugar, and flour, stirring until a thick, spreadable paste forms.

Step 4: Layer & Swirl

Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Spoon about half of the cinnamon mixture on top, then use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl it into the batter.

Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon mixture, swirling again to create that signature cinnamon roll effect.

Step 5: Bake

Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool completely before adding the glaze.

Make the Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk, adding the milk gradually until you reach your desired consistency.

Drizzle over the completely cooled bread before slicing.
