Oreo Truffles

Oreo Truffles

Three Ingredient, No-Bake Treat

These Oreo truffles are by far the easiest dessert to make this holiday season. They only require three main ingredients and always turn out so delicious. They are also very customizable. You can switch up the Oreo flavor or chocolate flavors. I would love to hear any creations that you come up with!

I love that this recipe is no-bake, so you don’t have to worry about turning the oven on. Also, it only requires one bowl, so it makes for a very easy clean up.

If you don’t have a blender or food processor to crush the Oreos, you can place them in a Ziplock bag and use the back of a spoon to crush them. The more you crush them the better the truffles will stick together. You really don’t want any big pieces of Oreo left.

If you want, you can add ¼ teaspoon of peppermint extract to the mixture for extra peppermint flavor.

TIP: add ½ teaspoon of oil to the chocolate before melting. This makes the chocolate a lot easier to work with. Also, always be sure to melt the chocolate in 30 second increments to be sure it doesn’t burn.

Oreos: I used normal Oreos. You can really use whatever cookie you want for this recipe.

Vegan cream cheese: I used plain vegan cream cheese. Any cream cheese will work vegan or not.

Chocolate: any chocolate will work. I melted vegan chocolate chips.

White chocolate: vegan white chocolate can be hard to find sometimes. I always buy mine on Amazon. You can also use non vegan white chocolate.

Candy canes: I like adding crushed candy cane for the peppermint flavor. You can add sprinkles on top or any toppings of your choice.

Ingredients:

  • Oreos

  • Vegan Cream Cheese

  • Chocolate

  • White chocolate

  • Optional: crushed candy cane, sprinkles

Recipe:

Makes 9-12 truffles, double the recipe for more

  • 18-20 Oreos

  • 1/3 cup vegan cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup chocolate

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate

Directions:

1.    In a blender, food processor, or by hand, crush the Oreos to a fine powder. Once crushed add in the vegan cream cheese. Stir to combine.

2.    Use a cookie scoop and scoop the mixture onto a plate. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

3.    After the 30 minutes, melt the chocolate and dip each bite into the chocolate. Allow that to harden for 10 minutes in the freezer, and then drizzle with white chocolate + sprinkle with crushed candy cane.

Be sure to store the truffles in the refrigerator or freezer. The truffles should last up to 5 days in the refrigerator. You can prep a large batch and store in the freezer. It should last for a month minimum.

If you try this recipe and enjoy it, I would love if you could press the “like” button at the bottom of this page or leave a comment. Either one of those really helps me out!
